Hello!

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We can only imagine what it must be like to be in your shoes. Know that we have been praying for you and the baby during this time. We have desired to grow our family but have been unable to conceive, due to Darlene’s fertility health. We truly believe that adoption is not a quick fix for infertility, but something God has placed on our hearts. We would love the opportunity to expand our family through adoption. If you decide to place your child for adoption, and choose us, we would respect and honor your decisions along the way. We will do our best to give your child a life that is full of love, support, opportunities, and memories.

Dillon is an accountant, and I am a part-time third grade teacher at a small Catholic school. We have adopted all three of our sons, Lorenzo, in the spring of 2021, Francis in August of 2022, and our third, Blaise, in February of 2025. We attend Mass every Sunday as a family at the same small church community I teach in. We pray daily that our children will grow to know, love, and serve the Lord. We have been married for 9 years, since 2017, and dated for 7 years prior to marriage. Our story began in high school, where we met in geometry class.

We spent the majority of our time together and would cheer each other on at different sporting events. Although, personality-wise, are are complete opposites, we complement each other well. Dillon’s organization skills, planning, and quiet demeanor balance Darlene’s spontaneous, procrastinating, and talkative self. It’s our differences that make us love and appreciate one another. We want to build a family that not only loves the Lord, but loves and supports each other throughout this walk of life. We want to foster opportunities to bond and build relationships with our children and our children with each other.

In our spare time, we love to go for family walks with the dog, bike rides, play outside with the boys, go swimming at grandma and grandpa’s house, go camping, and take trips to the park. Lorenzo is an outside boy. He loves to play outside in his mud kitchen, making mud pies and using his construction trucks in the dirt. He has also enjoyed wrestling this winter and plays baseball in the spring. Francis loves to play with any ball he can get his hands on, but he really enjoys playing with his basketball hoop. He is excited to be on a baseball team with Enzo this year. Both boys enjoy riding their bikes, playing tag, and visiting our family and friends. Blaise loves discovering new things, playing peek-a-boo, our dog (Molly), and splashing in the water. We encourage our boys to try new things to discover what they enjoy.
