Dear expectant mom,

Hello! It’s so nice to meet you. We’re Sarah and Anthony “Skip” and we’re so grateful you’ve chosen to get to know us a little bit.

We know you don’t know us and we don’t know you, but know that you have been prayed for. We have a lot of people praying for you. We admire you for choosing adoption.

Adoption is something that has always been close to Sarah’s heart. She spent 2 months in Haiti working at a medical clinic. While in Haiti, she worked with a lot of children. It seemed kids were drawn to her there. It was there that she felt the Lord calling her to one day adopt. Early in our relationship we knew the Lord was calling us to adopt as a couple. Sarah is unable to have children due to a necessary surgery. 

We live in a small subdivision in rural northern Indiana. We would love to one day find some land to have a little farm. We both love to garden and take care of our small flock of chickens and pigs. We have a variety of parks, both county and state, close by and we both like to explore those. 

We are close to our family. We have 5 nieces and nephews that we spend time with regularly. They’re excited about having a little cousin to play with.  We are involved in our local church. We help out in the kindergarten class. We’re also involved in an adult Sunday School class and a small group.

Our faith in Christ is what holds our marriage together and that is how we would like to raise our child. We feel so honored to be a part of your story, and want you to know that we admire your courage and bravery. We have prayed for you and the precious life you are carrying, a child that has been fearfully and wonderfully made.
